Who we are

Established in 2005 and based at the Penny Appeal Campus in Wakefield, West Yorkshire Health & Safety Training is a leading supplier of workplace learning, specialising in first aid, health & safety, food safety, fire safety, licensing and more. Our strapline says what we're for: confidence in the workplace.

The business was built on health and safety training and for years delivered a major government-funded learning programme across the region. Today the bulk of our work is first aid and fire marshal training, delivered at clients' premises: house-builders' sales teams, factories, care homes, schools and construction sites across West Yorkshire and beyond.

We believe getting compliant shouldn't mean sitting through a tick-box session led by someone reading from a script. Our courses are small, practical and taught by a trainer who has spent two decades breaking down the barriers to learning — so people leave competent and confident, not just certificated.
